The Managing Directors of the ATH Group are
Bertram Hartmann and Bernward Kurpisch.

Bertram Hartmann is a strategist and operational expert in the field of finance and controlling. After a commercial apprenticeship and basic studies in economics as well as qualification as an accountant and controller, Mr. Hartmann initially worked as an operational expert in various companies. This was followed by positions in commercial management functions and as managing director in the beverage wholesale, automotive parts supply and medical technology sectors. 
In 2009, he used his expertise, consulting and management experience to set up his own company, Schritt 2, and specialised with his team in optimising corporate processes in the area of finance and controlling. In 2020, he also took over the position of board member of the Burkhard Meyer Foundation. With further training as a change management coach and a value-oriented systemic business coach and consultant, Mr. Hartmann was appointed Managing Director of the ATH Group in August 2022.

After completing his mechanical engineering studies, Bernward Kurpisch worked at a renowned ship repair yard and then studied aircraft construction in Hamburg. Since 1986, he has been active in the sales and project planning of coating systems.In 1995, he founded Drytec GmbH und Co. KG together with two other partners and, as its partner, was responsible for the commercial management with a focus on sales. in 2019, after selling the shares in the company, he moved to the management of the company.
